Strange Arts Studios and Commissions.

Hello all, it's Nick!

I'm currently trying to raise up some funds for college, since I want to study animation, but art schools in my home state have a tendency of being a bit, well, expensive.

The Academy of Art in San Francisco is no exception to that, and unfortunately my family and I are in an impoverished state.

To put things into perspective: my dad's last paycheck was literally just enough to cover the costs of my room and board fees. Literally just enough!

I need to find a job, but jobs are currently scarce--my friend's hours are being cut back, and some are
I've been trying my hand at fashion
struggling to find work. I'll be looking for some up in SF in the meantime.

Because the deadline to pay for room and board is fast approaching, we're scrambling a bit to get the necessary money to pay: I need 500 dollars, soon.

I know mother and father'll pitch in as much as possible, but if I could get at least some of the money necessary, I'll do it. Unfortunately for me, I'll be stuck doing that the only way I know how: Commissions.

Commissions start at a $15 dollar base price, plus the cost of materials and the hours worked (I'll be working for $7.25 an hour, the national minimum wage).

I can do traditional, with colorpencils, colorsticks, inked, and watercolored.
I can also do digital using photoshop, but that would involve time (which would come at no extra fee to you).

This project is quite old, so I've improved some.
(Disclaimer: this isn't really a Nightwish cover. It was for fun)
Anything from this bottom list is possible. If the category's in blue, it's because it'll be digital and needs time to do.

  • Fashion design
  • Photography (possibly with a Cannon Rebel T31 from now on)
  • Character Design
  • Logo Design
  • CD design
  • Company design
  • Typography.
If you're interested, I'd suggest clicking on the "contact me" page, or the "Deviant Art" page--I will be doing most, if not all, of my commissions on Deviant Art, but would enjoy a nice email conversation before deciding on whether I'm apt for what you're looking for.

I know this isn't all that great, but I'd appreciate a glance (pardon the layout. Blogger's not nice).
