*sigh* I might as well explain what my New Years resolutions were this year:
Get healthy, lulz! Get to Collage, find a job (no success, thus blog), and other things.

But above all, I really really wanted to get into making YouTube videos. I don't know why. I guess it just looked like a lot of fun! And I wanted to make something fun of it, you know? Rant and have you all see my face, if you even exist. This is why I call you my little no-one (or no-ones, at times, when I feel important on the scale of the internet.. . . .or try to feel important, at least. I dunno. "No-ones" invites a bigger audience, don't you think? It's a bit weird. .  . .)

Point is, I greatly enjoy watching some YouTubers I've been mentioning on posts as of late, and I enjoy "spending time" with them (is that a weird way to think about it? "Spending time" with them isn't exactly accurate, since we're not physically next to them, but they all acknowledge we're there. And like any conversation, conversations are struck in the hopes the other party likes what we're talking about. Right?).

So I went on and made a video. And I'm going to keep making videos all week. In hopes of. . . . . reaching someone. Anyone, so long as they're not a creep pedophile or something.

Would you like to see me humiliate myself?

Well. . . . hardly anyone's ever gonna see these videos, so they're not too big of a deal anyways.

Um. . . . .Hello. This is a late introduction.

This is what I look like, only not really because it's a chibi.

It just occurred to me I never once tried to introduce myself, which is kind of rude considering how someone out there might actually be skimming through these posts and reading horribly personal things about myself.

I was positive no one would care when I first started this thing, and I’m still pretty sure all you no-one’s out there just take one look at the first two paragraphs and go “Fuck it. TL;DR!”.

My little no-ones, how I love thee.

Still, here goes:

My name’s something I won’t be putting up here, but my pen name’s Nikola Strange:
I got it by taking the name of my favorite scientist, Nikolai Tesla, and taking away the “I” to make it seem more feminine, and one of my favorite superheroes, Marvel’s Doctor Strange, who’s been the Sorcerer Supreme and is all-and-all pretty kick ass.

“Nicky” is also a longstanding nickname my cousins gave me a long time ago, despite the fact it sounds NOTHING like my real name.

“Nikolai” is also the Russian version of “Nicholas”, if I’m not mistaken, which is the first name of Santa Clause in Rise of the Guardians (I loved that movie, don’t you dare laugh!) whom I related to a lot. It make me feel like a kid again since Santa and Christmas was always a bit of a sacred cow for me, and still sorta is today with my nephews.

I’m 17, and will be 18 in a couple months. I’m going to Collage in San Francisco to study 2D animation. My dream is to one day work for Pixar, Disney, or DreamWorks, but I probably won’t get there for a while. I’m more excited over the ride to that ultimate goal, since in that field experience is everything. ;)

I’m from the United States, and my dad calls me an “American of Mexican descent.”

I was sorted into Gryffindor on Pottermore, and I was actually pretty damn proud of it. My best friend’s a Slytherine, along with a good number of other friends, and then there’s, like, one Ravenclaw in our group-family-thing.

I love to talk and have a ton of different ideas buzzing around in my head at once, which is why I wanted to blog--well, no.

Actually, I wanted to initially VIDEO blog, but I quickly realized I was too shy to share my face in public, to a public. So now I'm just sharing my thoughts and you probably think I look like either a supermodel, or a cute little nerd, or maybe some sort of spazmic penguin.

Which is all much better than what I actually look like. The imagination works like that.

Anyways, someday, I wanna make some extra cash spouting out ideas here (if ad blockers ever become obsolete, or I manage to sell stuff. . .  .Yeah, I totally doubt this one).

I’m the “manager” or “postmaster general” (because the ACTUAL postmaster general’s job is nowhere near cool enough for the title) of a conglomerate of blogs on FB under “The Lives and Times of Young Adult Things” (go like? :3): it’s my friends and I being stupid because we can’t afford therapy and/or need soapboxes to stand on and rant over stuff.
